Year 5 Trip to St Dunstan in the East:
On Wednesday 2nd October, we visited St Dunstan in the East. We did some sketching, rubbing, drawing and had some great discussions linked to our 'Floodland' text.
Year 5 Trip to Southwark Cathedral:
On Tuesday 1st October , we visited Southwark Cathedral. This was not only a trip to enhance our writing in Literacy, but also a RE trip. We went on an 'Exploring Christian Symbols' trail and this really helped immerse us into 'Floodland' and it was a great way to kick off our RE topic of 'What matters most to Christians and Humanists'.
UKS2 marched around Tower Hamlets to protest about the air pollution and try to make people aware of the situation in the borough
Year 6 visited the Tower of London as part of their Crime and Punishment Topic.
